Charity Night brings local Ohio charities to the track to enjoy an evening of fun and excitement. Charities are paired up with a particular horse in a race to earn money for their charity depending on where their horse finishes. Charity participants get an up close look at the harness racing industry by visiting the horses in the paddock as well as rides in the starting gate.
Ten charities will participate in this year's OHHA-Caesars event, each paired with a horse during a race. Each charity will receive a donation from the OHHA for participating, with the top three finishers receiving larger donations. First place will receive $10,000, second place will receive $5,000, and third place $3,000. All other finishers receive $2,000 donations.
